Blanket Bay is a luxury lodge set on the shores of Lake Wakatipu in Glenorchy, Queenstown.
We prepared the landscape scheme and documentation for the newly constructed Villas. The design utilizes stone walls and hedging to create privacy between the units and frame views to the mountains. A functional network of paths allows buggy access to each unit for carrying guests luggage and maintenance.
The client is a keen garden enthusiast and the planting scheme included a mix of hardy mountain natives with a complementary colour palette of flowering perennials.
